The NuBees group was started in February 2005 by Karen Quimby and Rita Harper with the assistance of Mike and Joyce Malloy. These four realized there was a need to meet other OHCC residents through an informal social hour. And so, NuBees began, with the purpose of bridging the new residents with the long time residents. It started out with just the four of them and grew to what it is today! It’s become pretty popular and many new friendships and new activities have formed as a result of its creation.
